Tractable: Branching out in Brazil
As a scaling tech company, entering new markets at the right time is critical. Get it right, and you can secure new partners that help fuel further growth; but time it poorly, and you stretch resources to breaking point.

At Tractable, we’ve already scaled beyond our European origins to working with some of the largest insurers around the world, from the US to Japan. And now, we think it’s the right time to enter Latin America – and, in particular, Brazil.
Why? Well, Brazil is obviously a very attractive market. Not only is the economy growing quickly, but Brazilians love their cars – and, therefore, it’s a country where our AI, which accelerates accident recovery, can make a tangible difference very quickly.
And why now? Well, we’ve just announced that we’re working with MAPFRE, the largest insurer in Spain and Latin America – meaning our AI will be accelerating real Brazilian accidents for the first time, and helping drivers recover their livelihoods faster.
In addition, we’ve also agreed with Atos, the global leader in digital transformation, to work together to bring our AI solutions to insurers via Atos’s connecitions and infrastructure. The partnership potentially opens doors to Brazilian insurers, repairers, fleet owners and automakers nationwide, leading to more efficient operations and a better customer experience.
With those two partnerships, the time is right to expand our operations in Brazil. As a result, we’ve opened an office in Sao Paolo, which will act as our Latin American HQ, and we’ve hired a country manager, Vinicius Franklin, to spearhead our efforts in Brazil and beyond.
At Tractable, our mission is to use AI to help the world recover faster from accidents and disasters, and – as a proud Brazilian – I am delighted that our technology will, from this moment, make a difference in one of the world’s most vibrant and exciting countries. Joga bonito!
