Tractable AI innovation recognized at Poland’s Banking Forum and Insurance Forum
In April 2022, Tractable received the award for ‘Most Interesting Innovation for Insurance’ at Poland’s annual Banking Forum and Insurance Forum. Tractable was nominated and chosen from the competition by a jury of 18 banking and insurance industry experts, leaders and academics.
Aleksander Surowiak, Tractable’s Sales Director of Central and Eastern Europe, picked up the ‘Most Interesting Innovation for Insurance’ award, in recognition of his team’s breakthrough work with leading Polish insurers, including PZU and Warta.
Insurers like PZU and Warta are using applied AI to create faster, more efficient and improved auto claims services for their customers, leveraging Tractable’s AI solutions.
It’s a working relationship that Aleksander and his team truly appreciates. “Our clients trusted Tractable before our AI solutions were known worldwide and they partnered closely with us” says Aleksander.

“Now everyone is coming to realise that AI does work, and can significantly support and transform claim settlement processes for insurers.”
As one of the biggest Central Eastern European countries, innovation is of vital importance to Poland’s insurers, who have increasingly looked to new digital solutions to accelerate change in their industry – especially during the Covid pandemic.
“To receive an innovation award from one of Poland’s biggest industry forums is a great honor,” says Aleksander, reflecting on the award. “It makes us even more motivated and excited to work with our Polish insurers to continually break new barriers in terms of how AI can support human beings.”
For Aleksander and his team, it’s inspiring their future work, driving AI innovation further within the industry to help transform not only auto but also property claims.
“It’s our next frontier,” confirms Aleksander, “where AI can play an even greater role in simplifying processes and creating substantial gains in efficiency and customer satisfaction.”
